Education: M.S. and Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, University of Virginia. B.S., Physics, University at Albany.
Teaching Interests: Logic Circuits, Digital Design, VLSI Design, Computer Architecture, Exploring Engineering, Infotech and Society, Capstone Design, and Embedded Microcontroller Systems.
Research Interests: Timing issues in digital circuits and systems and embedded systems
Work experience: General Electric Global Research Center and consultant for Sandia National Laboratories
Other Interests: Member of IEEE, ACM, and SWE. Director of the ACM/SIGDA/IEEE P. O. Pistilli Scholarship and serves on the Tech Valley Symposium Executive Advisory Committee, the Dudley Observatory Board of Trustees, the MOSIS Advisory Committee for Education, and the Hudson Valley Engineering Science Advisory Committee. Outside interests include gardening, soccer, and horseback riding.
